The next Spokane Java User Group meeting is scheduled for Saturday, February 28th, 2009, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the usual location (The Service Station Coffee House in North Spokane).
As some of our more novice members have requested, we are covering some of the "basics" at a very hands-on level in the next meeting, however, it would be of great benefit to have our more advanced developers join to provide their perspectives. For this next meeting we will be covering the very beginning basics of writing Java code using either a text editor and (compiling/executing via the command line), and/or an IDE such as Netbeans.
